MEMBERS of the MUP in Jagodina, by order of the basic public prosecutor in Jagodina, ordered the detention of bus driver M. S. (39) from Ćuprija for up to 48 hours, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a serious crime against public traffic safety.
He suspects that yesterday, around 6:40 p.m., on the Jagodina-Ćuprija road, while driving a bus, he hit a 47-year-old woman who was walking along the edge of the road.
She was transported to the Health Center in Jagodina, where she died from her injuries.
M.S. will be brought to the prosecutor’s office with a criminal complaint.
