In a collision between two cars at the entrance to Vlasotince this morning, four young people were injured who, after the intervention of the emergency team from this town, were transported to the emergency center of the Leskovac General Hospital, and two from there to KC Niš, it was confirmed to Jugmedia at the Leskovac PU and the local hospital .
The drivers of the “Golf” and “Seat Ibiza” were involved in the traffic accident, which happened around 3:30 a.m., and they collided at the intersection of the Leskovac-Vlasotince regional road and the road leading to Grdelica. They were injured from both cars. Two with serious injuries were referred for further treatment, and two were discharged home.
“The man S.V (2006) from Vlasotince suffered a head contusion near the eye, then his chest, hand and forearm, so he was referred to Ophthalmology in Niš, and a 17-year-old girl from Vlasotince was also referred to Niš for a head contusion and a wound on head above the eye. I.L. (2006) from Crnatov had injuries on his head and hand and he was sent home after receiving help, as was the female person M.M. (2002) from Orašje with an injury to the right upper arm,” explains hospital director Nebojša Dimitrijević.
Eyewitnesses say that it was a “terrible collision” and that due to the force of the impact, one car bounced, hit and knocked down a pole on the side of the road.
In the University Medical Center Niš, they say that two patients did not arrive at that health facility.
